Freight Forwarder
Reporting to our Transport Operations Manager, you will join our team to participate in the development of the service.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for the organisation and management of national transport operations for our clients, as well as the commercial development of your business.
Your main role will be to:
- Organising the transport of goods by appropriate means of transport
- To carry out the purchase and sale of national transport services on behalf of clients, in accordance with transport regulations and commercial objectives (quality, cost, deadline).
- Negotiating rates and deadlines with carriers, aiming for profitability and customer satisfaction, ensuring the service is carried out correctly.
- Development of client and haulier portfolios
- Ensure daily compliance with all site procedures and instructions
The profile sought
With a Bac +2/3 qualification (or equivalent) in transport, you ideally have 3 or more years of successful experience in a similar role.
You know about the geography, legislation and services of the profession, as well as the techniques and tools necessary for managing chartering. You master the rules and requirements of the transport sector and have a sense of organisation and a taste for fieldwork.
You are known for your excellent interpersonal skills, as well as your dynamism and your
Perseverance. Your taste for challenges, your rigour and your ability to convince to achieve your goals will be the essential qualities for success in this role.
