For our Poupry (28) site, we are looking for Operations Activity Manager.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will join our team to participate in the development of our business and ensure the smooth running of the site's entire logistics process.

Your main task will be to optimise practices to improve the overall performance of the site.

In this capacity, you will thus be responsible for main missions :

  • Manage and coach team leaders and their staff on a day-to-day basis
  • Create the employee schedule based on activity volume.
  • To drive performance on a daily basis
  • Participate in your team's recruitment
  • Oversee the integration and training of newly hired employees
  • Propose ways to continuously improve the processes and procedures related to the activity.
  • Communicate with other site services and teams, and with the client
  • Identify and alert one's manager about any anomalies encountered
  • To ensure compliance with current procedures (preparation, reception, loading, etc.)
  • Ensure the safety of property and people and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure daily adherence to all site procedures and instructions, including those concerning hygiene, safety, and energy, and apply them.

The profile sought

With a qualification equivalent to a 2-year post-secondary diploma or a 3-year bachelor's degree in Logistics (DESU GOL or equivalent), you have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Rigorous, methodical and proactive, you enjoy working as part of a team. With excellent organisational skills, you are recognised for your ability to manage and lead teams.

Your listening skills and your ability to plan your department's activities are assets that will enable you to achieve your objectives and succeed in this role.

Knowledge of computer tools (WMS) is essential.
