The responsibilities of the role

As part of a new role creation, we are looking for a Refrigerated Logistics Operations Manager for our Allonnes (72) site.

Reporting directly to the Site Director, you will join our team to participate in the development of our business and ensure the smooth running of the entire site's logistics process. Your main objective will be to optimise practices in order to improve the site's overall performance.

In this context, your main missions will be:

– Ensure the optimisation of productivity and the continuous progression of the service.
Manage a team of approximately 90 collaborators, including several direct hierarchical reports.
– Organise the site's operation and monitor activity,
– To ensure compliance with the client's specifications, manage client relationships, and ensure their satisfaction
– Animate the site on a daily basis
– Communicate, ensure compliance, and improve the quality management system
Ensure the implementation and observance of the hygiene, safety, and energy policy on site.
Ensure the safety of property and people and the cleanliness of the site
– Alert the technical department about the faulty equipment
– Ensure daily compliance with all site procedures and instructions.

Our operations take place in refrigerated and negative (-20°) cold environments.

The profile sought

With a higher education in logistics (Level 3 to Master's degree), you have successful, significant experience in a similar role as a Logistics or Operations Manager. A hands-on individual, you are rigorous, methodical, proactive, and enjoy working in a team. Possessing excellent organisational skills, you are recognised for your ability to lead and manage teams.

Your taste for challenges, your charisma and your ability to take initiative are real assets for succeeding in this role. Your listening skills and your aptitude for planning the activities of the departments are qualities that will allow you to achieve your objectives. Proficiency in IT tools is essential.

Permanent full-time position (Executive status). Development potential within 2-3 years towards a Site Director position.
