The Mutual Logistics Group has been awarded IFS Logistics 2.3 certification for its logistics site at Attignat in the Ain region, just a few months after the Poupry site is due to be certified in May 2023.

This label meets the requirements of European distributors in terms of food quality and safety in all logistics activities. It guarantees transparency, traceability and safety throughout the frozen food supply chain.

An audit of the entire chain was necessary to obtain IFS Logistics certification, in order to verify the quality of reception, temperature-controlled storage, loading/unloading and handling of food products.

This Multi-Distributor and Multi-Industry Distribution Centre covers almost 28,000m2 and is one of the largest sites in France at -20°C, with almost 200 employees.

The IFS Logistics certification of the Mutual Logistics Group sites will continue in 2024. This will involve the Allonnes (Sarthe) and Bollène (Vaucluse) sites.
