As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for the following for our site in Mions (69): A Charterer.

Mutual Logistics, an independent, family-run group created at the end of 2007, provides a full range of logistics services to the industrial, consumer goods, retail and e-commerce sectors. We have the skills to manage their end-to-end flows: organising national and international transport, customs and transit operations, container groupage, dry and cold storage, order preparation, stock management and e-logistics. This positioning explains the Group's rapid growth: +27% per year since 2008.

Reporting to our Chartering Division Manager, you will join our team to help develop the department. As such, you will be responsible for organising and managing national transport operations for our customers, as well as the commercial development of your activity.

Your main tasks will be to:

Organising the transport of goods using appropriate means of transport
Buying and selling national transport services on behalf of customers, in accordance with transport regulations and commercial objectives (quality, cost, lead time).
Negotiate rates and lead times with carriers, looking for profitability and customer satisfaction Ensure that the service is carried out correctly
Developing customer and carrier portfolios.
Sedentary sales role
Ensuring daily compliance with all site procedures and instructions
Your profile

With a background in Transport/Logistics, you will ideally have successful experience in chartering.

You are familiar with the geography, legislation and services of the business, as well as the techniques and tools needed to manage chartering. You are familiar with the rules and requirements of the transport sector and have good organisational skills and a taste for action in the field.

You are known for your excellent interpersonal skills, as well as your drive and perseverance. Your taste for challenges, your rigour and your ability to convince others to achieve your objectives will be essential qualities if you are to succeed in this position.
