Auchan Retail Agro has entrusted Mutual Logistics with the management of its new fruit and vegetable warehouse in Amiens, due to open in September 2022.Three years after Mutual Logistics took over the Athis-Mons platform (91), Auchan Retail Agro is continuing its collaboration with the French logistics provider by entrusting it with the management of a new fruit and vegetable site, due to open in Amiens in September 2022, following a call for tenders.
Logistics reorganisation at Auchan Retail
With a surface area of 6,000 m², this warehouse will be used to supply 90 shops of all formats in the north of France and the Ile-de-France region, as part of a logistics reorganisation plan that pools logistics assets for different shop formats (hypermarkets, supermarkets and convenience stores). The new platform will be delivered at the same time as an extension to the Athis-Mons site, which will also be used to handle a larger number of shops in all formats. This will create 45 jobs in Amiens, in addition to hiring new staff at Athis-Mons.
