The Mutual Logistics Group has obtained IFS Logistics certification for its Poupry site, enabling it to meet the quality and food safety requirements of European distributors in all its logistics activities.

This label guarantees transparency, traceability and safety throughout the food supply chain. In order to obtain IFS Logistics certification, an audit of the entire supply chain was required to verify the quality of services, from transport and storage of goods, through the various handling operations, right up to co-packing.

As Naïm DENIS, Vice-President Commerce of the Mutual Logistics Group, points out, " This certification is a guarantee to our customers of the quality and compliance of our services in the management of their foodstuffs. Our teams work daily on the continuous improvement of our processes, and we congratulate them on this approach to operational excellence. From now on, our aim is to roll out this certification to all our food distribution centres.

Our 31,000 m2 shared distribution centre in Poupry, with its controlled ambient temperature, is dedicated to food manufacturers (30 customers) and suppliers to supermarkets and catering outlets. Its location at the heart of France ensures optimum distribution throughout the country.

The range of services offered at this logistics site is comprehensive, from inbound transport, through decontamination, storage, order preparation and co-packing, to delivery to consignees in multi-industry lorries.
