{"id":6649,"date":"2016-06-07T13:49:36","date_gmt":"2016-06-07T11:49:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mutuallogistics.com\/un-point-sur-la-semaine-europeenne-du-developpement-durable\/"},"modified":"2025-07-11T09:12:45","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T07:12:45","slug":"a-snapshot-of-european-sustainable-development-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mutuallogistics.com\/en\/un-point-sur-la-semaine-europeenne-du-developpement-durable\/","title":{"rendered":"An update on European Sustainable Development Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mutual Logistics participated in the <strong>European Sustainable Development Week<\/strong>.<br>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From 30 May to 5 June 2016,<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From <strong>tree plantations<\/strong> on our Bourg-en-Bresse site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>During European Sustainable Development Week, the company Mutu<\/em><em>at the Logi<\/em><em>stics has worked by carrying out a <\/em><em>concrete action to raise staff awareness and protect the environment, and: \u00abmore trees, more life\u00bb.<br>\nDespite the capricious June weather, Mutual Logistics proceeded with the planting of 5 shrubs.<\/em><em>re<\/em><em>on its website on 1 June 2016, with a local partner located 3 km away.<br>\nWe thank all these stakeholders for this low-carbon and environmentally significant action.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><figure><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mutuallogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Photo-d\u00e9veloppement-durable.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2378 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mutuallogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Photo-d\u00e9veloppement-durable-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"Tree planting\" width=\"456\" height=\"257\"><\/a><\/figure><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EcoMouton and its <strong>shearing rams<\/strong> on our Le Mans platform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecomouton.fr\/\">EcoMouton Company<\/a> has come to install sheep-mowers on our lawns around our warehouse located in Le Mans. Eco-grazing is primarily about stopping the use of chemicals for weeding and abandoning mechanical mowing which leads to CO\u00b2 emissions.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mutuallogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSCF3472.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mutuallogistics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSCF3472-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"EcoMouton\" class=\"wp-image-2377\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tracking our adventurers in Greenland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It's now been 5 years that Mutual Logistics sponsors Cercle Aventure's expeditions. This year the destination is <strong>Greenland<\/strong>. Four adventurers have set off to the land of icebergs with the aim of testing equipment and studying the challenges associated with working in a negative atmosphere. The challenge set by Mutual Logistics: to temporarily attach a banner to an iceberg, with the aim of promoting our business launch in Bourg-en-Bresse!
