Mutual Logistics to manage grocery brand logistics for General Mills France

This new Mutual Logistics contract at its Poupry-Orléans center with the General Mills group, for the logistics management of its grocery brands in France, strengthens the service provider’s position in the shared logistics market in this sector.

After having transfered its Orléans activities to the new Poupry-Orléans site in the Centre-Val de Loire region, Mutual Logistics announced at the beginning of the year that it would manage the distribution of several product categories of the distributor, Solinest, on this new site. Shortly after the center opened on 8 June and the first orders for Solinest were shipped on 1 July, the logistics service provider announced that it will also welcome another customer in the fourth quarter of 2020: the agri-food group, General Mills, the producer and distributor in France of the Yoplait, Häagen-Dazs, Géant Vert, Nature Valley and Old El Paso brands. Mutual Logistics’ know-how in shared logistics and expertise in food products helped convince General Mills to sign the national logistics contract for its consumer grocery products within this new shared large-scale and national distribution center.
