Mutual Logistics launches “Mutual Food”, a new logistics and transport service dedicated to manufacturers
Mutual Logistics wants to become the leader in logistics pooling in France. To do this, the group plans to open seven multi-manufacturer distribution centers in the heart of the production areas.
The first to date is a 34,000-m2 site located in Orléans, which already hosts around fifty manufacturers in groceries, wines and healthy & beauty products, including Michel et Augustin, Jordans’, Nautilus and Triumph.
As Vincent Denis, the founder and Chairman of Mutual Logistics explains: “We offer manufacturers the opportunity to massify upstream transport, storage and delivery to supermarket platforms in order to reduce their costs and increase their competitiveness. By mechanically improving all of these assets, we naturally improve their productivity!”
Building on this first experience, Mutual Logistics intends to open six additional distribution centers within 18 months to cover the entire country: Honfleur (Calvados), Cholet (Maine-et-Loire), Roye (Somme), Beaune (Côte d’Or), Montauban (Tarn-et-Garonne) and Orange (Vaucluse).
